My favorite spot for salads outside Panera in the area. My go-to is the Cantina Salad with chicken instead of steak. The fried jalapeños and that dressing are a killer combo. They should put that dressing out on the salsa bar so you can dip chips in it. So yummy. The manager always comes around to say hi. You can tell that he cares about his customers satisfaction and that's always nice in a world where customer service is a thing of the past. We keep trying to get there to try the WTF special just because it caught our attention but seem to only be around for lunch time. I had the quesadilla once which was good and I'll order on treat meals. O and I always love the music they are playing!

I get the Big Cali Burrito with no meat, cheese, or sour cream and it is nice and flavorful. David at the register is always helpful and extremely friendly. The corn and black bean salsa on the bar is tasty to boot! I've been enjoyed my meal every time I've been.

In general I have enjoyed the chain "Lime" and I went to the one at Tyrone Mall on a Sunday late afternoon. It wasn't nearly as fresh as the other ones I have been to. There was ice and other foods mixed together in the different salsa bars and the food was much greasier than I remember. As the other Limes I have been to have been really good and fresh, I'm thinking this was just a bad time to go. I'll probably give this location another chance. It should be a solid 2.5 stars. :-)

We all had several different choices. Well prepared. We all enjoyed. Were stingy with sour cream and cheese on fajitas and quesadilla. Chips were very good. Tacos and burritos were good size. Not too big. Well worth the trip. good value.

Great food! Friendly service, & delicious taco salad! my sister and cousin had veggie soft tacos and they loved them.

We love stopping at Lime even when we aren't at the mall! As a big fan of Chipotle I was sure that Lime would not compete. But it is different, and in a good way! The fresh salsa and condiment bar is a hit with me. I love trying the different hot sauces and adding fresh cilantro and lime to my salad. Its has a perfect little spot to sit outside too. The service is always quick and efficient. You order at the register then they bring it out to your table in a flash. I'm getting hungry just thinking about the pineapple salsa and chips & queso - yum!!

Meh....an office that I had lunch with, requested food from here. Why I don't know, but they did. I wish they had asked for chipotle..... I ordered the black bean bowl: rice (which was gummy), overbooked black beans, NOT homemade guacamole, subpar fajita veggies and basic pico de gallo. The only good thing was the fresh lime wedge I squirted on top. Do yourself a favor and drive 1/4 mile down the block and get chipotle.

This place is great. Just ate here with some friends last night and had a great time. Lots of great food for not too much cash. The staff was super friendly and the place was pretty clean. The food was simply great. Really cool place.

I thought that Lime was a sit down restaurant, but was slightly upset to learn upon entering that it was order and sit. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and 2 others ordered chicken and beef burritos . My quesadilla was delicious! The cojita cheese made it for me. I wasn't crazy about the chips, though. I did enjoy my meal at Lime better than Tijuana Flats, although Lime has no lower fat version. All in all, delicious new place to get a good 'Mexican" meal.

Great place to stop when near or at the mall. My wife is vegetarian and they have plenty of options.

Gluten free heaven! I loooove this place! Tijuana tacos are very good. The chips are great! The service was fast and very personable! Prices are amazing for organic! You won't be disappointed. My 9 year old loved it too!

I really love Mexican food and this place is quite yummy. I've been back twice and the first time I ordered fish tacos and the second time I got regular tacos along with some Quesa dip. All three were made fresh to order, came with chips and were quite yummy. I really enjoyed the salsa bar which offered many different types of salsas, along with fresh cilantro and limes. There is both indoor seating and outdoor seating which I really like in Florida. ¡Muy delicioso!

It was so nice! I walked in for the first time yesterday and was immediately greeted by someone. The cashier was super friendly and was very patient after I told her it was my first time. I ordered the not yo mommas nachos with grilled chicken and a side of beef topped queso. The pricing was reasonable and my food came out timely. They were also coming around constantly checking I everything was good and cleaning up after little by little. We were then greeted by the manager who asked us how we felt. I have to say for the first time going it was a nice experience and there ac wasn't really working that well and you know what I didn't care because the service outweighed that. :)

The menu at the door is not the same as the one hanging up so when you get your food it's what what you expected. There salsa bar (3 different salsas) tastes nothing like a typical salsa like any other Mexican restaurant. You get unlimited chips but you have to walk up to a random person and ask. *no waitress/waiter. Although the girl walking around to pickup trash her stomach was hanging out of a tank top; gross! The chicken is nasty in the quesadilla and brown. Save your money and go to Taco Bell.

Was a great little fast foodish Mexican. Love the choices of salsa. My only complaint is the chips. They don't give you many and they were a tad stale.

Cantina salad is awesome, salsa bar if fresh and stocked, atmosphere is open & fresh & the music is always to my liking.

Had one of the most impressive taco salads I've ever encountered at Lime! Great prices! Love the salsa bar and unlimited CILANTRO!!! EPIC concept!!! Looking forward to going back!

Great food! Great service. I have been 2 times since they opened. The Surfer Taco are amazing( Baja style)!! The place is clean, the food is fresh and reasonably priced and the staff is courteous.

I disregarded this place for a long while...I'd assumed it was somehow a "mall food court-ish" type of place and unworthy of consideration. Surprise, it's good! Service was super friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. The burrito I got was on the plainer side (the rice was just plain white rice as far as I could tell), but they provide a vast rainbow of hot sauces and fresh salsas so you can essentially flavor/spice it up to exactly what you like. I have no problem with this model (similar to Tijuana Flats, but better). The queso & chips were really good as well. Is it all "authentic"? Not really, but it's tasty, fresh, and good and the prices were fair. I would probably choose this place over Tijuana Flats or Carmelita's based on price and quality.

Really fresh food. I couldn't decide between the taco salad and the nachos. I got the salad. Which was deconstructed with lettuce in the bottom of the bowl - so it still felt nachoy but still really good. The guacamole was freaking delicious!! And the ranch dressing was so good it became a dip for my side of chips and I had to ask for more. Yum.

This location is great. I went in for the first time and was given a great recommendation by the cashier for the queso burrito which was as a guilty pleasure, excellent. The salsa bar was really nice, clean and fresh. I think this location has good food but I feel like there is something missing, keeping it from 5 stars. I think they are treading on the line of becoming a Moe's flavor wise, and I am not a huge fan of moes. I feel like there may be a lacking level of flavor. I will definitely return and have a meal without the cover of queso and repost. I hope it is as good as I want it to be.

Solid fresh Mexican fast food concept. Similar in some ways to Chipotle in that you pick your protein and accompaniments. They bring it to your table after you order and the big difference is they have a salsa bar. Very cool to try the many types of salsa. Their sour cream is amazing. It's made with lime juice and cilantro. Super tasty. I don't think their rice holds up to Chipotle and I am still a huge fan of Chipotle. I have room in my heart and stomach for both! I have not tried the guacamole, tacos and fajitas. I have had the quesadilla here a couple times and it was generous and tasty. Staff super friendly and happy to help out if you have questions. Not sure why other yelpers gave 3 star average. If you are looking for fresh, fast, affordable and tasty this should hit your check list!

I see in this place a mixture of moes with Tijuana flats. For about $10 you get a decent meal and a plethora of sauces (bottles and dispensed) . Basically, you order , then take a number and they bring your food out to you. The beverage choices are good too. I liked the sweet tea and the queso burrito was pretty good. The music selection was 90s so that's good. If only this place had a bar with TVs then it would make it more appealing for a hangout spot. They have an outdoor seating area which is good. But I don't see what differentiates this place from the likes of chipotle and TJ flats other than having a pleasant appeal to it. Overall, the food was decent , price was ok, and service was good.

Nice ambiance, clean, friendly staff. Salsa choices are exceptional. Food isn't as heavy as moes or chipolte, so I'm not dieing for a nap afterwards. Would recommend for quick and cheap

Came here for a late dinner before we went to a party. DD got his usual chicken burrito, and I got their special taco and a frozen sangria. I've never had a frozen sangria before but it was tasty and refreshing because of the high humidity. I was disappointed in my taco because the ingredients were cold. The manager did come over just to see how out meal was. So we let him know what we truly thought. I guess I was not surprised when he said the words I'm not making excuses but .... Enough said. It was nice of him to ask, but if you don't want the truth don't ask. I think next time I'll go to tiajana flats.

We like the atmosphere. We think it ia comparable to Moes but with more variety. It was clean. The food took a while to deliver. The food line appeared to have attitude because the manager had to fuss at them. The chips were slightly stale and we didnt get many with our meal. The queso IS AMAZING. They do have beer and margaritas...frozen....yummy. The mananger was friendly. We had a good time but the food was average.

Why 3 stars? Because it's way more tex than mex. --- --- --- The ultimate comparison of the negative is "Tijuana Flats." The ultimate comparison of awesome is Miguel's. Lime is somewhere in between. It's somewhere in the middle, but it's far from one of my favorites. The queso is pretty decent, which helps saves the negativity from the oddly shaped strips of beef. I don't even know what to compare them to, but it wasn't pretty. I'm rootin for ya Lime, but it's not easy.

This place is amazing! SO much better than Chipotle could ever be! The prices are reasonable and the service is great! Everything is able to be made vegetarian. The salsa bar is filled with excellent choices. I tried 5 different kinds and liked each one! They have pretty good key lime pie, too! Love that they have unlimited cilantro and limes as well!

I'm so glad Lime came to my neighborhood. It is a great alternative to Tijuana Flats and Chipotle, which I enjoy both of them. This was my first time and I was greeted at the door by friendly energetic young man. He explained some items from the menu and recommended the Queso burrito. As I made my way up to the counter, I noticed the salsa bar, the sauce collection, and all the drink options especially the frozen ones. I ordered the Queso burrito and it came with tortilla chips. As I waited for my food, I picked out a couple of salsas to try. I choose the pineapple salsa and asada salsa. Those were both tasty. The burrito was huge and so good. I was impressed that chicken was grilled and had its own flavor. I can't wait to go back to something new and one of those frozen drinks!

The prices were so reasonable for what we got! And tasty! I loved the atmosphere and the burrito I ordered was HUGE. The rice and beans were perfectly spiced and I just loved it. Now, when two in my party got Coke from the machine, it was running low on syrup I think because it was beige...BUT when a manager [?] asked how everything was, I told him. And do you know he came up later and again asked how we were doing and then thanked us for telling him and assured us it had been dealt with. THAT was awesome. I had never been to this place before but I am now a fan! OH and I loved the music. :)

Located on the side if Tyrone mall, Lime is a great alternative to eating at a food court. It is reasonably priced, very clean, and the good is pretty yummy. I love that they have an outdoor seating which is great for Florida's warm weather. The view is a parking lot though... I don't like the noisy, busy food court, so I decided to check out Lime. I heard good things about it before. There are two entrances, one from the mall and one from the outside. The atmosphere is very chill. Just put down your bags and relax. The good selection is pretty standard for that type of place: tacos, quesadillas, burritos... Not gourmet by any means, but fast, filling, and delicious. I ordered a NorCali burrito and a steak taco to try. I liked both. I like the sauce bar where you get to choose any sauce you like, but I wish it was labeled as it took me a while to figure out what sauce to take. Only the really hot ones are specified, but I don't like those... Overall, it will definitely be my first choice if I eat at the mall. Great place.

I wanted to give them for stars but honestly the food is always kind of greasy. I really like the fresh salsa bar, they have several really fresh options to try out and all the salsas taste really good. The nachos are also really big and good, but again kinda greasy. We have eaten here or gotten take out probably 4 or 5 times total. It seems strange to say that when I have given the place only 3 stars, but that's the way it is. I guess we are gluttons for punishment. If I were you and I were in this area, I would go to the nearby Tijuana flats on 66 Street instead. 1 plus that l almost forgot, the workers here are always really nice and are helpful if you need something. I just wish the food matched up to their service level.

Tijuana Flats is better. Queso is not that good. Chips are out of bag and you don't get much. Do like the salsa bar

I just moved from Miami, and was super excited to see that Lime was opening here. Awesome surfer tacos and yummy queso and guac. I would love to see them bring in the tropical tea, and get rid of Coca cola owned Honest tea ( it sucks). They were missing the habanero salsa and the pico de gallo looked more like soup, so room for improvement in the salsa bar area. Hopefully, these things will get fixed with time. The service was awesome, it always was in Miami too.

Was really looking forward to trying this place. Had dinner there tonight and was really disappointed. We had Tacos which had absolutely no flavor at all. The salsa bar is nice but they give you tiny cups to put it in so you have to keep going back or you can pay for a big bowl of it. Chipotle will remain my favorite when it comes to this type of Mexican.

Strike Six and counting. Stepped into the brand new Lime here at Tyrone and we were greeted by open doors and no AC. Strike One. Next we were greeted by the cashier who informed us that their automated order system was down but they took our order by writing it down on some receipt paper. Ball One. After we ordered we went to our table and found that neither one of us was given a glass for the drink that we ordered. Strike Two. Not too long after we were seated our food came out with the greasy piece of paper that the cashier wrote our order on placed neatly on top. Strike Three. Then after a couple bites my wife found that she wasn't able to find any queso in her Chicken Queso Burrito. Strike Four. They quickly remade my wife's Chicken Queso Burrito with plenty of queso, but no chicken, as it was beef. Strike Five. This time the manager came over to ensure the order was right. True to his word out came a Queso Chicken Burrito. Great time to pay, I went up to the register to find that the ordering system was back up, but the credit card system was down and they could only except cash. Since the staff failed to mention this to us and we had no cash on us, Strike Six. We hailed Jerry, the manager who we're getting to know quite well by this point, again and he explained the credit card system was almost up if we could be a little more patient. Again true to his word 2 minutes later he presented us with a gift card and apology. Normally it's 3 strikes and you're out, but because of the apology we'll give Lime a shot at a 2 out rally.

A texmex restaurant that clearly doesn't care. Stale chips are a clear sign that nobody cares about your meal. Multiple times I have eaten there and the chips are always stale. The queso is Luke warm velveeta cheese and the quacamole costs $5.

I highly do not recommend this place. I ate there once, didn't think it was that great. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned a second time. I ordered a bean burrito and got food poisoning!!!! I am now on a quest to find a REAL Mexican food joint! Thanks LIME!

I think that it is marginal at best. A well run Chipotle can kill hands down. Ruby Tuesday made a terrifically terrible investment.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
